VAMPIRE COWBOY TRILOGY by Qui Nguyen & Robert Ross Parker
A trio of irreverent action comedies about a paranormal detective, a pair of Cold War-era superduper- heroes, and a sassy teenage warrior princess. Qui Nguyen and Robert Ross Parker are co-founders and co-artistic directors of Vampire Cowboys Theater Company. They wrote and produced Vampire Cowboy Trilogy while graduate students at Ohio University. (read an interview with the authors)

SECOND by Neal Utterback
The lives of six New Yorkers and a mysterious man intertwine on a fateful Christmas Eve in this innovative dramatic comedy. Neal Utterback was born in Indiana and received his MFA from the University of Florida. He is currently the playwright-in-residence for Tobacco Bar Theatre Company. BULL SPEARS by Josh Chambers
A genre-defying music theatre piece that combines video, movement, live action, and other elements to explore the iconography of the cowboy and the American West. Josh Chambers, co-artistic director of Fovea Floods Theater, is a director, composer, playwright and actor. He received his BS in theater from Skidmore where he was a Filene Music Scholar in classical guitar. (read an interview with the author)

ANIMAL by Kevin Augustine
A five-eighths-human genetically altered test subject named Eugene helps a young man overcome depression in this remarkable puppet play. Kevin Augustine writes, directs performs, and makes the puppets for his Lone Wolf Tribe productions. Other plays include Once Vaudeville and Big Top Machine. (read an interview with the author)

ODYSSEUS DIED FROM AIDS by Stephen Svoboda
This moving, poetic drama charts the final journey through the imagination of a dying man in a hospital AIDS ward. Stephen Svoboda was born in New York and is currently a professor in the Theatre Arts Department at the University of Miami where he teaches directing and playwriting. He is currently working on a docudrama that explores the impact of the AIDS crisis in Africa. (read an interview with the author)

MAGGIE MAY by Tom O'Brien
A charming romantic comedy about finding love and happiness, set in the Bahamas. Tom O'Brien is a writer and actor who lives in New York City. His plays The Group, Stage Left, and The Casanova have been produced by various companies in New York and elsewhere. (read an interview with the author)

ELEPHANT by Margie Stokley
A family copes with loss and grief in this quirky and touching nonlinear comedy. Margie Stokley was born in Boston and received her degree from New York University Tish School of the Arts. She works mostly as an actor. Elephant is her first play. (read an interview with the author)

WALKING TO AMERICA by Alberto Bonilla
In this incisive docudrama, a fifteen-year-old boy travels on foot for two years to get to the United States from his native Honduras. Alberto Bonilla, born in Honduras, has been active in the theatre for more than 15 years. He received his MFA in acting from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts. He is a director and playwright-in-residence at 78th Street Theatre Lab. (read an interview with the author)

THE 29 QUESTIONS PROJECT by Katie Bull & Hillary Rollins
A cycle of four plays that explore friendship, intimacy, and their manifestations in human political affairs. Katie Bull holds a BFA in acting from SUNY Purchase College. She writes, directs and performs in the Bull Family Orchestra and is a professiional vocal production coach. Hillary Rollins plays have been produced in New York. HONOR by TheDrillingCompaNY
Seven one-act plays consider the nature and meaning of honor in 21st century America. TheDrillingCompaNY was founded in 1999 by producing artistic director, Hamilton Clancy. KALIGHAT by Paul Knox
A young gay American man volunteers to work in one of Mother Teresa’s Calcutta hospitals in this wise and compelling two-act drama. Paul Knox's plays have been seen at Circle Repertory Lab, Circle East, and the Neighborhood Playhouse among others. He is executive director of Circle East which he co-founded in 2000. PLATONOV! PLATONOV! PLATONOV!. OR THE CASE OF A VERY ANGRY DUCK by Eric Michael Kochmer
A smart and hilarious Chekhov parody rooted in post-post-modernism and hip-hop. Eric Michael Kochmer is an actor and playwright from Pennsylvania. He has worked extensively with Feed the Herd Theatre Company who have produced his plays, Hit Man, A Coyote Wearin Blue Suede Shoes, and Fragments of Ricky the Superhero.
