Project Overview:
The Canal Park borers on Hui Mountain in the west, embraced by rives on three sides. The Park was originally a concentrated area of grain and oil transportation, warehousing, and processing industries after the establishment of the city of Wuxi and the founding of New China. Now, with the protection of industrial heritage of the 20th century, the Park has evolved into an integrated and open large urban garden incorporating the rice market culture, canal culture, sports culture, entertainment culture, ecological greening, tourism and leisure. The Park covers an area of some 160,000 square meters, of which green area accounts for about 60%, and it is the largest cultural theme park in the urban area.
